International Probate Research (IPR) specializes in the recovery of abandoned property and locating heirs. We are experts in genealogical and estate research on a global scale.

IPR seeks out unclaimed assets and attempts to locate the appropriate owner or heir. Since inception, we have recovered millions of dollars for thousands of people all over the world.

The company was founded in 1974 by Edward C. Azarian, who is a retired peace officer with the County of Los Angeles. Mr. Azarian presently maintains one of the oldest, active Private Investigator licenses in the State of California.

Mr. Azarian's son, Michael L. Azarian, joined the firm in 1986. Since that time, IPR has remained under the guidance of this father and son team. In addition to a local support staff, IPR maintains associations with correspondents across the U.S. and abroad.
